Red Gerbera

The flower photography course continues. Macro this week. I was pleased to find this gorgeous red gerbera in a decent florists in Loughborough.

I had intended to photograph it yesterday but time did not permit. Spent half an hour in the conservatory and still having to use really small apertures.  The photo does not show the exact colour of the flower.

Had to abandon all that to get ready to go to Leicester for choir rehearsal and concert in the evening. Len and Basil came too.

Grateful to George and Kat for a cup of tea and the opportunity to heat up a ready meal in the microwave, plus close my eyes for half an hour. William was not at his best. Kat is amazing at getting him to get over it.

Oz, George's flat mate from his first year at uni, was staying for the weekend. Good to see him.

Concert went well. Not a bad audience but I wondered how many had free or cut price tickets.

Glad to get home to bed.
