Sea of red

Got my advent lights out today and of course they wouldn't light. So I decided to go to the garden centre in the village for a new one. They didn't have any like it but I managed to get a very plain one with seven lights.

They had some with beautiful eleborate festive scenes at a price but I noticed none of them had Nativity scenes on them which my old one did.

Whilst there I took a look at the seasonal flowers. Mainly red poinsettias as you can see here with a selection of cyclamen too. I bought a bicolour one a couple of years ago and it lasted well into spring but last year's was dying before we got to Christmas. I might buy one nearer the time.
