Lights of Leeds.

A miserable grey morning and an eywateringly cold one too.

We had things to collect and things to take back in Leeds.

First stop Debenhams. Return no problem and they had a half price toy sale on so perfect for the Toy Service coming up in a couple of weeks. Next John Lewis, I needed the haberdashery dept for double ended needles - you never have the right size though I did have the right circular needles. Whilst there we had a coffee. I had another voucher. The man on the pay desk said as we'd bought a cake (cheese scones actually) we got a free Americano and with my voucher we need not pay anything . Can't quite figure that out but didn't argue.

These lovely decorations are in front of John Lewis in the Victoria Quarter. I felt the decorations were more understated this year but no worse for that.

Back then to Molton Brown where we had something to collect. They couldn't find it. As it was the main purpose of our trip I was ready to be annoyed, but it was found and we got a couple of extra sample bottles as compensation, excellent a new fragrance it two to try.
The dress that was too big for Eda was returned to Marks and we did a bit of food shopping before going to find some lunch.
We had intended heading up to Millennium Sq to see the Christmas market but we really couldn't be bothered by this time so popped into Teinity Kitchen instead.

A quick sprint for the train and the first drops of rain were starting as we alighted in Bingley. We had just missed the bus so indulged in a taxi to take us right to the door. Glad we did as it is persisting it down now - the start of the storm?

A good trip out. Nice for a change but glad we don't do it very often!
