Poppies Passing

The poppies are nearly done. They have been so lovely and I will miss them. The seeds I sowed to produce flowers for now have come to nothing. It’s so disappointing as I put a lot of effort into them.

There were more macro subjects today. See extra shots. There’s a beautiful native forest orbweb spider, Novaranea laevigata, which I rarely see. She had caught a flying insect in her web and was eating it.  Also I found a fly with a crystal ball.
