First Snow of the Year

Well the forecast was for snow today, and like the last few times this happened I said we wouldn't get any - usually that would be the case. Even if the rest of the country gets it, this part gets missed. But today it has snowed!

There were a few flurries this morning, and as I walked home this afternoon it was coming down properly! But it doesn't seem to have settled at all...

I have been over at the parents as normal. Not much to say really...

Work tonight - tea time will probably be busy but I should think it will quieten down later on if it stays so cold.

I'd like us to have a proper Winter for a change. Just in case we do, can anyone tell me what footwear is best for icy pavements?
