The one that got away

Does anyone else have problems with adding text in Photoshop Elements 15 and who works on Windows 10?  After about a week of various attempted fixes including uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop to no avail, today it has decided to work, albeit with a few hiccups.

Today's offering is one blue tit and a ghost.
