Day's end

The hot weather continues and it's been a good but busy day. Busy is how it will remain at work through until Christmas.

By mid-afternoon my legs felt similar to 24 hours earlier when we were descending 11,00m only today it was just a couple of flights of stairs.

Despite a trim both big toe nails took a hammering at different points yesterday. They don't look too battered - yet. Tomorrow my legs will be called on for serious exercise again but today it's just been short walks and stretching.

Today's gratitude: For the coolness mixing with residual heat, and the scents of dusk.
