Poppies and Carrot Flowers

The green background is due to irrigation, which is new to this neighbourhood. Other places are browning off.

Last night I stayed up to see the super moon rising. Darkness had fallen by the time it appeared, huge and shimmering, between some trees. As there was too much contrast for the sort of photo I like to get I just looked at it. It was magnificent.
