But, then again . . . . .

Wide Angle Roslin.

With the creative muse having made his escape for a week’s holiday, I’m back to playing with the technology. I’ve only just discovered that it is possible to remove the barrel distortion from a fish-eye lens. It has suddenly become of interest as I have been seeing a lot of superb wide-angle architectural shots taking with rectilinear wide angle lenses. While this 7.5 mm lens is a bit extreme for the effect, I do have a (much) cheaper 9 mm one that I’ll have a go with once I’ve found a suitable lens profile and worked out how to install it. I might be ready in time for Wide-Angle-Wednesday.
