Christmas in Leeds

After a good night we headed into Leeds on the train this morning, buggy, baby and all.

We made for the Christmas market and then found a nice quiet place for coffee nearby. It was so cold that Eda wore her snow suit for the first time. After returning to the market for a
Gluhwein and a bite to eat Grace and I headed to the Grand Theatre to see Northern Ballet's performance of The Little Mermaid. The interpretation of the underwater scenes were wonderful.

John, in charge of Eda, met up with his sister and her two boys who enjoyed some of the fairground rides at the market. We joined them after the ballet and had a wander around the Victoria Quarter before heading for the train home which was heaving!

Chris had prepared a dinner for us on our return and son Alex joined us for the evening. A real family day!

Eda was really good and slept most of the day, let's hope she does the same tonight!
(Any body spot the socks on Eda's hands - we didn't have any gloves!)
