A first

Well, I know this is a photo of a photo, but something happened today that has to be recorded. Our daughter sent me this this morning to announce that they had snow - in London. And not just snow, but 'proper' snow! 

Now that is an event in itself, that there should be snow in London, but the amazing thing is that we did not have any snow up here. I don't think this has ever happened before. 

So, we seemed to have escaped the snow, but we are very glad indeed that we weren't trying to get out of Kent and through the Midlands today.
