Avian Antics

A stroll this morning at Lake Padden, in between errands and other activities, yielded this trio of photo-bombing ducks while I was focused on the cormorant pair, and in the extra, a quick grab of "shift change" on the cormorants' righthand post.

But as I'm writing this at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, what I'm REALLY thrilled about is Doug Jones' upset win over reprobate Roy Moore in the Alabama U.S. Senate race! 

I feel like there's hope again in this country. May it be so!
