The Cottbus Plate

I do know that G's paternal grandparents lived in Cottbus, a city about 80 miles south of Berlin.  But I'm not sure of the full story behind the Cottbus Plate.

It was, however, something to blip after a horrible day.

Horrible workwise and horrible weatherwise.

Apart from the telephone ringing from start to finish, I got given the most horrendous job.  I think it's close to almost impossible.  But they've decided, I just have to do something I've never seen done in over 20 years in IT.  And I've got 6 weeks or so to do it.  No pressure then.

And the horrible weather has affected the brains of people in cars.  We've never had a shortage of idiots in cars here, but today they went the extra kilometer.  Ever been overtaken on a suburban street?  Or ever have a car pull out of a side street in front of you and then just stop in the middle of lane?  I reckon 50% of people here get their driving licenses from Kinder Eggs.
