The Way of Colour

When Fergus went to Tayinloan ...

... to see the Island Queen

6.5C and sunny all day long, with a few clouds along the West coast of Kintyre.
Light ESE/ENE breeze increasing to moderate N/NNW with gusts to 36 mph.

After lunch Fergus and I got my little car and I drove up to Tayinloan. Fergus whined and whistled and hooted all the way. That's what he seems to do in a car, although he is perfectly happy looking out the window as we go along.

When we got to Tayinloan we saw the ferry head off for Gigha then we walked along the beach to see the Island Queen. Fergus liked the beach. There is lots to explore. He wasn't much interested in the Island Queen, so we wandered on and looked for pottery pieces (and found some with good colours). On the way back along we stopped and I persuaded Fergus to wait long enough for me to get his picture by the wreck.

The ferry was arriving back from Gigha just as we were getting back to the car park.

On the way home Fergus doesn't usually whine, which is a relief.
