Mono Monday - The suspense is killing me!

I'm sticking my neck out here so apologies if it's an upsetting concept, but the theme for this Mono Monday is "Film Noir - Crime / Detective / Thriller". I'm not going to hazard a guess on whether this is the scene of the crime or the reward thereof.
