Meet J...a real inspiration.

J has autism and when he was only 13, he was diagnosed with bone cancer in one leg (which was amputated).  Along his recovery, he suffered a stroke as well. Life may not seem fair, but you would never know it when you meet him and his family.  Lovely, supportive family who worry more about our well-being than their own.

Today he got to go meet Santa for the first time.  A senior student dresses up every year and students may get their photo taken with him.  Our students wore Christmas sweaters and I took their photos with Santa (see extra).  This photo of J was taken after the photo session was finished so he was back in uniform and 'chilling' on the bean bag in our room.
