Great Spotted Woodpecker

The red squirrel was in the garden again today so I went outside to sit and wait for it's return. I've chosen this to blip and didn't wait for the squirrel.to return.

Why?

Because:-

a) the great spotted woodpecker has never come into the garden while have been outside with it, all my shots have been through the window.

b) it's against a natural setting, not the feeders, and

c) I've never caught one in flight before, though even my 1/3000th didn't freeze the flight.
