A little privacy if you don't flippin' mind!

Wild Wednesday took us to Bristol Zoo today, where we suddenly realised the dominant male silverback gorilla wasn't simply playing with the straw, but was making a comfortable space for a moments relaxation with The Times... apologies, fella. Carry on.

Zoos are controversial but in the end we've come to the conclusion that they are the last best hope for a biodiverse planet. Maybe when we've killed ourselves off there may be a few of these splendid and utterly sentient creatures left.

After the Zoo it was a boring visit to the shops and thence to Tyntesfield for the twilight wander. Sadly a thick fog came in which made long exposure photography a little soft. Still, there's an extra there if you fancy.

We got home to find the reasonably new and heretofore perfectly wall-mounted 55" 4k UHD curves screen TV had decided to have a tussle with gravity, and of course lost heavily. Tomorrow there may be more shopping.
