Cinderellas slipper

We slept ok, but were both awake around 5 for a good while, but eventually got off again, only to be woken by the bin men, but it was 9!!

Another grey drizzly and damp day, getting fed up with this now, give me bright cold and crisp any day!! It was 11degrees when we jumped into the car, to go,and collect daughter and Emily, to,take them to the station. They are off on a little jaunt to,London to,stay with some friends for a couple of days, luckily travelling either side of the railstrike!

We stopped off at the farm on our way home for eggs, potatoes and various vegetables......really do,think, thats everything done now, oher than some lsoe gin mince pies from Aldi tomorrow hopefully!

Youngest son got the news he wanted, he won his case following his tribunal, so hes happy, and because its taken almost a year to bring his case, it will be backdated :-D
Hes finished work now until new year, and has new medication for his chronic migraine, as a result of eye strain, which will hopefully alleviate the constant headaches he has, and his wife has just found out, following a second interview, that she has a new job, so their Christmas wishes have come true.
All we need now is a miraculous cure for glaucoma, its going to come, hopefully soon :-)

Middle sons garden makeover, which has been going on for several weeks, and a bit of a nightmare for numerous unforeseen reasons is almost done, but not quite, its going to run into the new year, but the children wont be playing out in this lousy weather :-/

We are out for a meal this evening, with our quiz friends, pre quizzing of course........fingers crossed we can maintain a winning run!!

My contribution to this weeks abstract thursday challenge, with a christmas card theme, is this little glass slipper on our tree.

A big thank you to all our " challenge hosts" for their dedication and ingenuity, you know who you are xx
