Merry Christmice :)

Well....Mr Lupes' birthday today.... oh these December birthdays...rolls eyes....
But a great reason to step away from 'all the crazy shoppingness'....even though I have yet to source cranberries, carrots and swede for Christmas dinner....:/
So a meal booked and an overnight stay at The Game Cock Inn at Austwick...in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales.... ah... what a polar opposite to the fervour of Leeds right now! 
A walk around Feizor (a very favourite place of mine at bluebell time!) ... to a viewpoint most favoured as beautiful to photograph ....but maybe not in December when the mist and wind made even the sheep surprised you even made the effort!  (Extras)
Anyway... a visit en route to Settle... new walking boots bought for me.... and a visit to the beautiful 'Folly' building where knitted mice were carolling to the smell of mulled wine and the crackle of a fire.
