Glowing

Definitely a very lazy kind of a day.  We pottered.  BB played his new Star Wars game and eventually got dressed around lunchtime.  TT did a bit of tidying in the garden, then washed the windows.  It was such a lovely day, we could see just how dirty they were.  This then forced me to clean the insides – though I didn’t get far and I’ve still got the kitchen windows to do tomorrow.

TT rustled up festive sandwiches and wraps for lunch and we then headed down the coast for a walk.  We parked at Thorntonloch and walked along the beach, then followed the John Muir Way Link path for a while.  Knowing we would have to come back by the same route (and because BB had wet feet), we didn’t go too far, but will venture along here again sometime.

It was home via the supermarket as we had run out of milk.  Of course, we couldn’t just buy milk and TT came out with two shirts (they were in the sale!).

Once home, BB had a huge hot chocolate, changed back into his pjs and settled down to watch ET.  TT played with his new music gizmo and I did more pottering. After tea, I half watched Little Women, but did enjoy The Miniaturist.  Having read the book earlier in the year, I was looking forward to it.

Torness nuclear power station was positively glowing in the late afternoon sunshine. The extra is us on the beach!
