Across The Bay

To run or not to run, that was the question.  I haven’t run for almost three weeks, due to lack of time and then I had the cold.  I ran, it was a kill or cure.  I made it, only three and half miles, but the hill was a killer.  It was then home to more pottering and post-Christmas tidying, while BB got stuck in about some Christmas Lego sets.  After a late lunch we headed over Aberlady way and walked at the nature reserve.  Walking into the wind was bitter, but we were rewarded by fabulous views from the sand dune – where BB had great fun running up and rolling down.

We then met up with friends in the pub, and brought them home with us for a post-Christmas curry.

A lovely day, finished off with The Miniaturist.

Here’s a view over to Edinburgh and The Pentlands from the top of the sand dunes.  The first extra is a view of the Peffer Burn, the second is of BB running down a sand dune.  TT's bad back prevented him following on behind!
