Pink Cake - pink challenge

Fun day today. Started off bright and early for worship practice followed by movie date with Martin then home to make a cake for my friend's 40th. I knew I couldn't go wrong with shades of pink ... And here's what I came up with. Inside is chocolate mud cake with vanilla butter cream icing.

Whenever I'm in a flower shop or see roses anywhere, I allows announce to myself or whoever I'm with, that I can make roses with icing ... And today I reminded myself that I still can. Was somewhat pleased with the way the cake turned out, and my friend and everyone else were really impressed! So I'm happy.
