Gently down the stream

Blowin' in the wind

Well we haven't had the heavy snow so many UKers are putting up with (whether that's good or bad - I reckon - depends on whether you're a blipper or not ;)).  However, we did wake up to strong winds and the kind of torrential rain that always sneaks inside and pools on my kichen windowsill.  The ground is all mud and standing water and the river's about to burst its banks.  Rather unexpectedly though, the sun came out mid morning and wavered there or thereabouts for the rest of the day.

So I got my walk, with Hazel, through town and out the other side.  And in the process bagged this shot of wild clematis seedheads. We're swamped with the stuff round here, they just love chalky soil.

Hands up who's going to the sales tomorrow?  No-one is in Winchester, the town's dead and half the shops shut up for the duration.

Mega thanks for putting my cows on page 1 of the pops.  And...  Enjoy your Friday night  xx
