It was snowing steadily when I got up this morning. While I was having my breakfast I noticed that the bird-seed feeder in the back garden was empty and so I popped out later to top it up. Unfortunately, my attempts at filling it resulted in a mass spillage onto the ground before I rescued the packet and tipped it in the right direction.
Good news for the birds that prefer to eat on the ground, like this robin who hopped by thinking that all his Christmases had come at once. It wasn't long before the house sparrows, starlings and a blackbird got in on the act and the robin departed, but not before I had captured his portrait for my daily blip.
I suspect there might be a few other snow scenes, possibly featuring robins, in today's Blipfoto journals.
