Sgwarnog: In the Field

Swell

At Rhyl, in the 30 minutes between bus and train home, I nipped down to the sea, or at least the promenade. Contempory Rhyl seems keener on putting barriers between you and the beach rather than facilitating access to it so I contented myself with gazing out at the swell of the sea and the Gwynt y Môr turbines, and watching the Oystercatchers and Turnstones.

Unfortunately the water disco boats were closed for the season (extras).

So my seasonal travels are over, and now I have two days at home with the kids before we all go back to work and school on Wednesday.
