Blue Sky Sunday...

Straight out the camera and this sums up today. It is perfect dog walking weather so we are just back from meeting my brother with his dog. Eddison is now 6 months and still growing!! He is so playful and a great big softie. Their previous Old English was not social at all so it is a relief for them that Eddison is the complete opposite.

We went to a local village where there is walled gardens that are being restored after years of neglect. Elford Hall was gifted to the City of Birmingham in the 1930s but as it was so huge the walled gardens became overgrown and nearby cottages dacaying. In the last few years the locals have worked hard to make it into allotments and beautiful gardens but it is an ongoing project. My brother goes there most days with his dog but it was the first time we had been.

The washing machine is now fixed so the third wash is in - perfect day for it to be hanging out - and we are soon heading back out on a walk that will end in the pub :)

We are having the same dinner as last week - it was delicious and super easy, highly recommend it. I have finally finished reading The Night Circus and now just need to finish The Road for Book Club - then I can try to tackle the rest of the book that are overflowing.

I may have to give up work and blip to get through the growing pile of books - now there's an idea :)
