Sgwarnog: In the Field

For our final day of holiday 13yo, 9yo and I headed down to Sheffield for the day. The weather wasn't kind, so we just took the tram up to the museum at Weston Park, where we met Spike and enjoyed a fine touring V&A exhibition of doll's houses. We'd originally planned to spend some time in the city centre before catching the train home, but we ended up just staying in the park and then heading straight back to the station.

Approaching the University tram stop we spotted this piece of street art by Bubba (2000). Once we'd got our head around the double negative we agreed it's main message was to be positive, which is a good thought to be taking back to school and work in the morning. It took me a while to notice the shadow figure, but it seems to be a signature of this particular artist and does lend a 3D quality to the piece.
