Scavengers

After a brief fiery sunrise, it quickly became a dark and gloomy winter day, with rain for most of the supposedly daylight hours. Having submitted the report that was due in this morning, I spent a bit of time sorting out the fridge. The gulls were quick to spot the Christmas leftovers that I scattered on the lawn.
