Slippers and Sniffles

Slippers, pyjamas, hot water bottle, e-mail via iPhone, a box of Kleenex, fresh ginger, lemon and lots of water were the ingredients of my day.

Managed a (sniffly) catch up client call planning an upcoming event for March and have a recommendation for a new client too. No such thing as a day off sick as a freelancer!

Working from home tomorrow with some film office research and client work in an effort to catch up on the past couple of days which have been far from productive. What is it about a cold that makes one’s brain fog up?

I read an article online that said:

“Brain fog" from the common cold isn't all in your head. Upper respiratory tract illnesses – a.k.a. sinus colds – cause muddled thinking on par with the cognitive effects of drinking alcohol or getting a bad night's sleep.
