Stripey Simon

This curious Coot came to say hello to me at lunchtime and I was taken back by his HUGE furry feet! He seemed rather a fine fellow with his jet black feathers and striking white crest reminding me of a superhero.

I noticed afterwards when zooming in on the photograph that he has stripey feet so I'm naming him Stripey Simon. I'll keep you posted on his antics if I'm lucky enough to see him again on my wanders around the Castle estate.
