Ambleside

With nothing else planned and a with a grey start to the day I went to Ambleside for a stroll. I had intended photographing the Stock Ghyll Falls but never got there. Instead I got diverted whilst wandering around Holme Crag - somewhere I had never been before. The light over Windermere  got better and better and I just couldn't tear myself away to go to the falls and so spent a happy couple of hours there. Also wandered around the Roman Fort which I has also not previously visited. There are a couple of extras as I couldn't make my mind up!
