4th Backyard Bird of the Year

I am continuing to see new birds in the backyard. This is a Spotted Towhee; I just read that it is in the Sparrow family! I didn't know that. I usually see these birds on the ground, but this one flew up to the top of the fence....it made it easier to photograph him.....but I still had to focus past several branches.

Today hubby finally found a new pickup he wanted and he got the deal he had been looking for. It has been a year since he started looking.  :-)) I am glad he can now relax and enjoy his ride.
