nearly 2nd Sat :-)

It's nearly the 2nd Saturday of the month, so we we're out earlier today doing a bit of a 'recce' for next week's walk ...

... was quite damp underfoot this afternoon - perfect conditions for this rather impressive bracket-fungus :-)

So --- next week, we're planning to do some of the Braid Hills; a bit of the Hermitage of Braid; over Blackford Hill; past the Royal Observatory; and then finish over at Mortonhall.
