First Weekend of the Year

Steve and I went into town for lunch with his family.  We saw our gorgeous niece, Lumi (pictured) and had some lovely food and fab conversations and laughs.  Lumi is getting quite interactive with us now and she is such a cutie.

Since we planned to be in town, Steve decided to get some last minute tickets to see Kinky Boots and it was hilarious.  It was so many things - funny, thoughtprovoking, sad, uplifting - everything.   Highly recommend it.

We also sneaked in a bit of shopping where I reluctantly bought a new jacket - it is really lovely but shopping was not my intention today!

To finish the day, we had a nice glass of wine (mulled for me) in this cute little underground wine bar near Leicester square.  Then home in time to partly dismantle the tree so we can at least say it isn't "up" post the 6th night!  

Great day and impromptu night out and managed to just squeeze in the blip before midnight!
