A Reflection of Maples

On this day:

First frost in the morning; we awake to find everything covered in sparkling diamonds.

A hearty breakfast of an omelet with crispy fried potatoes and butter bread; the omelet loaded with fresh veggies. A lumberjack's breakfast.

A long walk in the local gameland with my husband in sunshine on crisp, crunching leaves amid autumn colors; probably five miles total.

Home, exhausted, to a tasty dinner of homemade lasagna, layers of cheese and pasta and more veggies and sauce, prepared by yours truly.

What a wonderful autumn day!
