The one that got away

This was not the bird that I was hoping to take a picture of, when I ran to grab my camera and put on the big zoom lens.  This is (of course) a pied wag tail and a relatively common visitor to the garden at this time of year.  The bird that visited briefly but did not hang around for long enough was a male blackcap warbler.  We've never had one of those in the garden before (that I have seen), so it would have been a first for me.  

Ah well, perhaps it will come back at some stage, you never know.
