On foot

I don't know how many times I've passed this stone but always on a bus or on foot on the other side of the road.  I imagine the 2 miles is to the GPO. I wonder how old it is?  Does it predate the change to the city boundaries?

It was so cold this morning -9 but I walked down 2 hills,  Liberton Brae and the Pleasance/Holyrood Rd.

It was good to be back although we have 3 off sick.

And then tonight I went for a swim.  I've reached the age where a) I get in more cheaply and b) I've missed the point where my heart will improve with exercise. Ah well.
