Colour (Color)

A quiet day, punctuated by a quick pop out in the hope of getting a new ceiling light for the ensuite. Despite being able to see what we wanted, the store concerned had none in stock and we couldn’t even order for home delivery. Bizarre!

I’ve been watching a video tutorial on colour theory. I’ll admit that my adjustment of colour in photoshop has always been hit and miss, whether by the HSL, selective colour or curves adjustments. It was almost a light bulb moment, the skill with which the tutor explained what each tool could achieve and how to do it. It’s not just about how to use a tool, but what is happening and why.

I thought a colourful image of flowers in a local shop was an appropriate choice given the tutorial and the dismal day here in the Midlands.
