Lazy Barstards

There were about 4 empty spaces in the car but Oh No ....... these perfectly able bodied morons couldn't possibly be expected to walk the extra few yards.
People like this (and those who use disabled bays) should have their licences removed and be branded on the forehead .... Erse.

We visited SWMBO's mother this morning. She still isn't feeling well (that is since before Christmas) and she is due to get blood test results on Friday - for which she doesn't want to go alone. Not surprising really.
Her car hasn't moved since before Christmas so I made sure it started (first time), released the jammed brake calipers (they were reluctant) and took it for a run. The tyre pressure gauge said that there was a problem. After finding out the the local garage wanted to mug me for 50p just to check the pressures I headed back and used my car's electric pump.
So that was a successful morning!

PD was with us today.
On the lunchtime walk the sky was a bit foreboding but the path was fine ..... Here! A bit further on it was a river of ice. The Council say they don't have the manpower of grit to clear the paths. If they get arse into gear and just put a grit bit at the top of the slope then they will not risk a law suit for broken limbs (or worse) on this lethal slope which is solid ice - not running water.

I am delighted to say that there were no problems between PD and Jay. A  bit of nervousness from both of them, but Jay stayed in the same room all afternoon (and even seemed curious), so I consider that a huge step forward and a successful afternoon.
