The largest blackcurrant

A wet day, and a day that was spent quietly indoors.  

Doug decided to make his blackcurrants into jam, with the help of Ella & Harry - here they are at the bench taking the stalks off, Harry found a very large one which is in his hand. Ella is holding a tiny one to compare.   It wasn't until I had this up on the computer that I noticed it. 

Played cards and generally mucked around for our last day with the kids.  They fly back to Wellington tomorrow afternoon.  

We have had a great time with them, such great kids, helpful, fun to be around.
