Darkest Hour

Went to see the film this evening. Brilliant. A political thriller but also a reminder of what a close run thing it was in 1940. If the dissenters had got their way we would have negotiated a peace and goodness knows what we would be now...

There's always a log jam of good films at this time of the year so am going to have to work hard at seeing as many of the others as possible.

As I was sitting on the meter waiting for it to be only one hour to go I noticed this lady on her way home form the shop. Closing time and it was good to see her passion for her trade - looking at the windows and pausing to check out the displays.
