from Blackford Hill

Very enjoyable '2nd Sat Strollers' walk today :-))

... some 25-folk (and 1-dog!) made the intrepid journey from Mortonhall; round some of the Braid Hills; along a bit of the Hermitage of Braid; over Blackford Hill; then past the Royal Observatory; and finally back over to Mortonhall.

The snap is from near the top of Blackford Hill, looking westwards --- weather held fine for us, if not a bit on the chilly-side towards the end of the afternoon.

The next group walk will be at 10am, on Saturday 10th February, around the Roslin Glen area :-)
