In 2017 Aberdeen held an arts festival called NUART, the focus of which was street art. A number of walls of buildings and other surfaces were decorated with murals and stencils, most of which are still visible, though perhaps no longer at their best.
The picture above that became my blip for today was created as part of that festival, which I read about only a few days ago, by a French artist called Julien de Casabianca.
Apparently the success of last year’s festival has resulted in plans being proposed for another NUART festival in 2018. I may return later in the year to see the results!
