Family lunch

When our son and his family come to Auckland from their home in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, the whole family get together for a meal and what the young Tsukens call The Kiwi Christmas. Fortunately, although the forecast for today was rain, and there was a heavy shower early on, the day was warm and sunny after that shower. We were able to sit at the table on the deck, and even used the umbrella to shade us.

Later this afternoon, Tsuken and daughter J joined me on a walk to clear the head. Down the steps to Southend of Snells Beach, around the point (where I took the extra of Tsuken ) to Fidelis Beach, and then up the cliff path to the road and back to the beachhouse.

An unhurried walk on an unhurried day.
