MiL's Flowers

Backblipped on 16th October 2012

Today was the day of MiL's funeral. We got up early, and set off to Devon in order to get there for a 10.00 Church service.

We went via the hedgerows - we'd been requested to make a bouquet of wild flowers, picked from by the roadside - so that is what we did.

The funeral itself was a Catholic Church service, followed by a short service at the crematorium, followed by sandwiches and tea in a centre connected to the Church.

Afterwards we went back to the house, which seemed very empty and strange without MiL.

A tiring day, although it went as well as it could have done.
