Shadow

4.4C and mostly dull and cloudy with heavy showers. A few bright spells.
Mostly moderate WNW/W/WSW breeze with occasional wind to 24 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Fergus and I went for a walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour and carried on along Hall Street then the park and out Kilkerran road. We had left the house just after a shower to catch a bright spell and as we passed the harbour the shadow of a big dark cloud started to shade things. No rain arrived with it so we walked on for another couple of miles. No ship has arrived yet for the wind turbine sections.

We turned at Glenramskill House and came back the same way then along the street side of the park. That's when the rain started. I had waterproofs, Fergus didn't. He got rather wet. Not that he seemed in the slightest perturbed. We came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open).

Fergus has been towelled dry and given some treats. I brought his bed through and he is beside my chair with a crocheted blanket over him to keep him nice and warm. Needless to say he is fast asleep.

On the Clip while walking:
Deacon Blue, The Believers, then The Singles
