Laden

Woke this morning to blue skies and a deep blanket of snow. Having set out for the paper we felt a need to get high(er) and so made our way up Craigower, Ben Vrackie's smaller neighbour. 

We were well rewarded - the snow had transformed the landscape, bringing out details not normally seen. Breathtakingly beautiful. 

The snow was the best kind-  powdery, white with little sparkles. It was also deep in places and the lack of wind meant that it weighed heavy on tree branches pulling them down.
