Hundreds and Thousands

Despite it being a grey, wet day, we've had a lovely day in Brighton with our visitors.  We had a wander round North Laine and fed the squirrels in the pavilion gardens before going for a late lunch at VIP Italian restaurant.

We then went onto the pier to watch the murmuration - there were hundreds, possibly thousands of birds tonight and at this point they flew towards us and went straight under the pier.  The sound was amazing! (Photo credit goes to Alan for this one)

Tonight we're having a relaxing night at home - we bought salami, hummus, cheese and olive bread, but we're all still full from lunch so I'm not sure we'll be able to eat it!

Anyway, I'll get back to my guests, have a lovely evening x
