A cold bird of paradise

Cathleen has brought one of her bird of paradise plants to flower and has been urging me to blip it before it fades.

Today's snowy weather seemed a good opportunity for contrasts particularly as this afternoon's scheduled  community meeting on a local wind farm proposal was cancelled. .
